Roz and the Rice Cakes Perform “Push and Pull”

Providence, Rhode Island’s Roz and the Rice Cakes have toured extensively this summer, taking their atmospheric, jazzy indie rock all over the country. While on the road, they stopped into 1809 Studios, in Macedon, New York, to record a live, session version of a song from their latest release Need to Feed, called “Push and Pull.”

The band is signed to the independent label Team Love, co-founded by Conor Oberst, and have opened for such notable acts as The Low Anthem, Andrew W.K., OK Go, and Passion Pit.

They will keep up the impressive pace throughout the fall.

From the looks of it, they’ll be playing a show more or less every night. So check out their website to see if they’re coming your way soon.

You can keep up on the latest 1809 Sessions by subscribing to the 1809 Studios YouTube channel. The project is a collaboration between musician/music producer Dave Drago and musician/video producer Jon Lewis.
