Spot On Peter Griffin Impersonator Goes to New York Comic Con (Video)

Robert Franzese cosplaying as the real life Peter Griffin at the New York City Comic Con is a wonder to behold. Not only does he naturally look the part, even before donning the green pants, white button down shirt, and round glasses, but he does a spot on impersonation of the Family Guy character’s voice.

He has some other voices in his repertoire, including Macho Man Randy Savage and Bugs Bunny.

Watching Franzese bask in the attention is part of the fun of this video. He’s obviously bringing a lot of joy to the convention goers, and is getting a great deal out of the experience himself.

As he puts it, “You know what I love the most about New York Comic Con? It’s the freakin’ friends that I see every year. Like, I go to work, and I’m like a nobody. I have a nobody job, making nobody pay, and (here) people are pulling out phones like I’m freakin’ Brad Pitt or some shit. It makes me feel like a million bucks. It’s the reactions I get out of what I do that gives me the joy of what I do.”
