New England Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork has played his entire career with the team, since being drafted in 2004. He is a five time Pro Bowler. And while he isn’t as recognizable as face of the team Tom Brady, you’d think someone wearing his jersey would know him when he sees him.
Wilfork surprised a fan wearing his jersey in the Bahamas, asking, “You a Patriots fan?” The fan answered in the affirmative, but didn’t seem to know who he was talking to, until Wilfork’s wife asked, “Do you know whose jersey you have on? His.”

“That’s amazing, man!” the surprised fan answered, before quipping, “It’s almost your size, right?”
Wilfork shakes his hand, and both seem happy enough with the encounter. Next time this guy meets one of his sports idols, hopefully this guy will know it.
Wilfork’s wife, Bianca Wilfork, caught the exchange on video and posted it to her Instagram account. It quickly went viral.
