Keith Olbermann says the NFL should suspend Tom Brady for a year for his involvement – or, “more probable than not” involvement, rather – in deflategate, or ballghazi, or whatever silly name they come up with next.
“One day for deflating the balls, and 364 days for everything else,” Olbermann jokes, citing the refusal to give even a vague apology and his father’s going to bat for him in particular as embarrassing. Not to mention the fact that a multimillionaire didn’t spring for some burner phones to better cover his alleged tracks.
“The real inflategate tragedy here is Tom Brady blowing this whole thing up from comparative trivia to the needless destruction of his own reputation.”
